Everything in HelpGuides

One tool for the whole answer lifecycle

From the moment a customer asks, to the article that stops the next customer from asking — here's every piece and how it fits.

AI chatbot

The first responder that never sleeps

Embed the chat widget in your app or help center. It answers customer questions instantly using only your published articles — so it never invents policies you don't have.

Answers grounded in your docs, and can cite the source article it draws on
Automatic fallback to a contact form when it can't answer

The questions that get through, handled together

AI drafting

Articles that write themselves from what you already have

The blank page is why help centers go stale. HelpGuides drafts articles from three sources you already have — screenshots, resolved support emails, and your old docs.

Screenshots → article. Drop in five screenshots of a flow; get a step-by-step guide with images placed inline.
Email → article. One click turns a resolved ticket into a polished, reusable answer.
URL → article. Point at any doc page and get a drafted article, images and all.

Frequently asked questions

Which features are on the free plan?+
Unlimited articles, unlimited team members, the AI chatbot, and a hosted help center. Paid plans add AI-assisted writing, the MCP server and REST API, a custom domain, white-label branding, more AI credits, and multiple workspaces.
Does the AI chatbot make things up?+
No — it answers using only your published articles, and can cite the source article it drew on. When it can't find an answer in your docs, it hands the conversation to a contact form instead of guessing.
Can I import my existing docs?+
Paste the URL of any doc page and HelpGuides drafts an article from it, images and all — so you're not retyping what you already wrote. You can also generate articles from screenshots or from a resolved support email.
How do workspaces work for agencies?+
Each workspace is a fully separate help center — its own domain, branding, chatbot, and team access — managed from one account. Clients can be given access to only their own workspace.
What can I do with the MCP server and API?+
Yes — the built-in MCP server and REST API are included on the Pro and Prime plans. Connect Claude Code or any coding agent and create articles from your terminal. Agent output always lands as a draft that your team reviews before publishing.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Downgrading to the free plan keeps your help center online and your articles intact — nothing is deleted. On Pro and Prime you can also pull every article out through the REST API whenever you like.
